HP NNMi Version 10.30 capacity planning for 1000 nodes+interfaces

Jump to solution

I'm currently working though capacity planning for a new installation of NNMi. While I've read the installation guides, there is no exact mention of the recommended hardware/software requirements. A couple questions I have:

1) Recommended hardware to support 1000 nodes+interfaces.

How many (RAM,CPU,Storage) requires for installation of NNMi.

Best Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom,

Check out  https://docs.microfocus.com/NNMi/10.30/Content/Install/Support_Matrix/support_matrix.htm#Hardware  and https://docs.microfocus.com/NNMi/10.30/Content/Install/Support_Matrix/support_matrix.htm#Performa  this page and the section in particular is what you need.

  Hope it helps

Hi, tomkool007
10.30 sizing information can be found in SupportMatrix.pdf. See atatched.

@NNMI support - could you look into it:
For some reason sizing information (support matrix PDF)  is not avialqble for last 2 NNMi releases (10.40 and 10.50). Interactive instalaltion guide points to sizing informatio  what is not avialable at Support Portal.
Also we, NNMi-ers, badly missed complete documentation set in PDF format since 10.40 release. Currently only a few PFD documents are available in Japan.

regards,
Gedas

Hi Gedas,

We have migrated to the "Docs" site and all the manuals are now online.  For the support matrix for 10.50 the URL is  https://docs.microfocus.com/itom/Network_Node_Manager_i:10.50/Install/Support_Matrix/support_matrix.    When reviewing a page if you look up in the top right corner next to your login name, or login link, you should find a small page icon with a down arrow.  this should allow you to download the page / section / document  as a pdf file.

  All the best

Dave Y
