Modify device state according to the severity of the trap

Hi all,

we have recently deployed a new equipment that sends its own traps.

As we know, each device is represented by an icon that changes colour

according to its state. I want to make the icon colour alter in function of the

trap severity sent by the device. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

It does that out of the box already. What you might not know is that each sub-entity on that device that you want to use to determine the node status must be in a managed state. By default only connected interfaces (those interfaces which connect to another device in the inventory and contain forwarding database information to the other device) are managed.

Have a nice day 🙂

I have RAN GW device network and most of them are application based traps.

How do I assign sub-entity to all application based entities ?
