Monitoring VSS (Virtual Switching Systems) on nnm

Hi,

 

We use nnmi 9 patch 4 installed on win  2008 server.

 

We use VSS in our LAN.

Is it possible to monitor VSS switches in the LAN with NNM.

 

I mean we have 2 switches but they are working like one virtual switch.

We want to monitor them.

 

How can we monitor them ? What about mibs ?

cisco has a specific mib for vss called->

CISCO-VIRTUAL-SWITCH-MIB

 

get this and you should be set. nnmi v9.1 also has specific device profiles for VSS devices i.e 6500VSS chassis. using interface tagging on the vsl & fast-hello links, you should be able to setup the proper interface groups.
