Re: NA Auto Remediation and NNMi

Hello,

Thanks for your question.  According with my investigation, the integration between NA and NNM it's only to show the information, but you can't run the NA task on the NNM application and viceverse.

Hope this information helps you,

Re: NA Auto Remediation and NNMi

Hello,

What exactly do you need to run?

The NNMi-NA integration provides the following two scripts that can be used to run diagnostics and command scripts when an incident is detected.

/var/opt/OV/shared/nnm/actions/naruncmdscript.ovpl
/var/opt/OV/shared/nnm/actions/narundiagnostic.ovpl

Is your remediation task implemented on a Command Script?

The scripts take the following arguments:

Diagnostics:

GetOptions('d|verbose' => \$verbose,
           'ip=s' => \$deviceIP,
           'd=s' => \$diagnosticIndex,
           'incident=s' => \$incident);

CMD Scripts:

GetOptions('d|verbose' => \$verbose,
           'ip=s' => \$deviceIP,
           'script=s' => \$scriptName,
           'vars=s' => \$scriptVars,
           'incident=s' => \$incident);

And when the NA integration is enabled, NNMi is automatically configured to run the following diagnostics when an InterfaceDown incident occurs:

narundiagnostic.ovpl -ip $managementAddress -d NA_INTERFACES -incident $id

(This is a good example of how to use the script on an Incident Action)

I hope that this is what  you need. Let us know

Thanks

Re: NA Auto Remediation and NNMi

No, that's just the example and the out of box configuration.

But you can use the scripts for other Incidents as well.
