(NNM iSPI METRIC) Support Tip:License file does not support this version. IQ requires a license ..


This applies to Windows and Linux OS .

Below is just on Linux OS patch example .

Has the following patches for NNMi and Performance for metrics - Network Node Manager ispi performance for metrics 10.20 Patch 1 for Linux/64 NPS1020L_00001. Apply network node manager ispi performance for metrics 10.20 10.2x SybaseIQ Component patch - NPS1020L_00002.

Now perfspi.iqmsg presents the following errors:

If you are entitled to use this version of IQ then check for updates at the Sybase Product Download Center and regenerate and deploy your license updates.

This error occur as NPS1020L_00002 patch upgraded Sybase version to sp11.01. The required new license file for sp11.01 was not shipped along with performance for metrics patch.

To fix this you need to get a Hotfix from Support. This defect is track as QCCR1B153370 would be fixed in upcoming patch of NPS10.20.
