NNMi: CustomPollCritical object deleted

Hello Experts,

By acident I deleted CustomPollCritical object from Configuration -> Incidents -> Management Event Configuration.

Made an attempt to rebuild this object comparing with CustomPollMajor and used SNMP Object ID of .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.17.19.2.0.10 when re-creating the CustomPollCritical.

Now I've noticed that when costum poll hits thresholds or comparison maps (critical) there's no incident creation. I should add that not everything got broken, for example, in the node conclusions tab de CustomPollingOnNodeCritical becomes critical.

I need to know how get the incidents working again and what else did I destroyed.

I'm running: System Information for HPE Network Node Manager i Software 10.20.280,10.21.402

Best regards,

Nuno Marques

Re: NNMi: CustomPollCritical object deleted

Hello Nuno

Thanks for posting

Some times where an element that comes by default within NNM is deleted an recreated by the user the functionally will not work as expected, what we can do is export the incident from a server that is working. For this I would request you the following, could you please run the following command and send the outcome to me for modifying the file and include the management event:

%NNMbinDir%/nnmconfigexport.ovpl -c incident -f /tmp/export.xml

Please attached the export.xml file to this thread.

I hope this helps,

Hello Vincent,

Thank you for the reply, here's the file that I renamed the extension from zip to jpg due to some restrictions - hope this works.

Hello Vincent,

Have you found the time to test/correct the file? if not I'll open a case.
