NNMi NPS DC-DR Sync

NNMi NPS DC-DR Sync | iRock

Hi Everyone,

We are in the process of implementing NNMi 10.10 in DC-DR:

NNMi: Standalone

NPS  : On Windows HA

Requirement: Need to sync DC-DR without failover OR HA functionality since we already have NNMi in HA at DC.

Did anyone did this before?

Please help me with some input/idea if you have knowledge on this.

Thanks,
Bharath

Re: NNMi NPS DC-DR Sync

Hello Bharath

Thanks for posting

I was checking internally for any information regarding to this query, but I could not find any data related to a DC-DR sync. The metodology that NNM or NPS use for DC are AF (NNM) or HA (NNM/NPS).

Think about this, AF takes a backup of the DB and then the system transfer the backup from primary to secondary and the DBackup is restored. I think that you can try to create an script that runs the nnmbackup.ovpl, transfer the .pgd file to the secondary and in the secondary you will need another script which will be able to restore the backup..

hope this helps,
