NNMi installation failure

Hi Team,

 

I am facing below issue while installing the NNMI trial version of 10.20 (windows).

1)"ShmemIndex entry size is wrong "

2)Embedded database is not created ..i checked the port connection 5432  which is opened in the server .There is no port block.

2)nnmaction ,ovspmd,nnmdbmgnr are not running.

Please help me here to fix the errors

Thanks for posting,

Could you please run a coomand located on the following path:

Windows: Drive:\ProgramFiles (x86)\HP\HP BTO Software\support\NMSDataCapture\armscripts

Unix: /opt/OV/support/NMSDataCapture/armscripts

It is called nnmCheckStartup.ovpl and the way how to run it is the following:

nnmCheckStartup.ovpl -scope db

At the end of the execution the command will display the location where the output was stored. Please move the file to another location and then run it one more time as follows:

nnmCheckStartup.ovpl -scope ovjboss

After that also collect the following logs:

NNMi logs information about the installation processes. You can view this information at the following location: %NnmDataDir%\log\nnm\

The most important log files are as follows:

nm-install-config.log: Contains a record of the most recent installation, including the processes that have been initialized (see the end of the nnm-install-config.log file).
%TEMP%\nnm-install-config_vbs.log: Contains a record of some preinstallation and post-installation activity.
%TEMP%\HPOvInstallerLog.txt: If you have installed NNMi and suspect problems, consult this log file.

In addition, the following log file might be useful:

%TEMP%\nnm-preinstallcheck.log: If the preinstallation check contains unresolved warnings or errors, consult this log file to diagnose problems.
%TEMP%\nnm-preinstall_phaseII.log: If the preinstallation check contains error messages related to missing license keys, consult this log file to diagnose problems.
%TEMP%\NNMUninstall.log: If you have uninstalled NNMi and suspect problems, consult this log file.

One the data is collected i would recommend you to share it here or open a case with support.
