NNMi to BSM Topology Integration Failing On Credentials

Jump to solution

I am trying to configure the NNMi to BSM Topology Integration.  I provide valid information - credentials and such - and get the error below:

Unable to save configuration. Check credentials for NNM.

I have validated that I am able to log in with the NNM credentials I am providing and the user id has administrator privileges.  Is there some other configuration issue I need to resolve?

We are working with v9.11 Patch 5.

In that case you need to upgrade NNMi as well. Please refer below:

Hello Edward,

Have you tried with the hostname (NNMi) and ip address (BSM)?, for example:

Enable integration checked

NNMi Host: nnm.test.hp.com
NNmi USer: system
NNMi password: system

BSM Host:  172.x.x.x.x
BSM Port: 80
BSM RTSM User: admin
BSMRTSM PAssword: admin

Topology Synchronization Interval (hrs): 24

BR,

Roberto

I had not so I just tried and it did not resolve the issue.  The error is suggesting something wrong with the NNMi credentials I am providing.  But I have even tried using the system login with same error.

We were able to set this configuration in our development environment (which is running v9.20).

Our BSM production environment is running 9.23.211, Build 235

So, I am trying to connect NNMi v9.11 with BSM v9.23.211
