New Physical/Node Sensors in 10.x

Jump to solution

I cannot see a way to view the Physical Sensors from a Node View in 10.x.  Am I missing something or can they only be viewd from the Inventory/Physical Sensor view?

Yes, it's clear.  As long as Physical Sensors can be reached from the Chassis view then it's easy enough to get to.  Just one more click to get there.

Thanks.

In NNM 10.01 I have a tab for node sensors when looking at a node from Inventory> Nodes.

Hello,

In NNMi 10 Physical sensors are part of cards or chassis, not nodes. So, if you open up any card/chassis form you should be able to see Physical sensors tab.

Right.  There is a tab for Node Sensors, but not one for Physical Sensors.  In 9.x there was one tab for Node Components which included both CPU/Memory and Power Supplies/Fans.  Now in 10.x these are split between Node Sensors and Physical Sensors, but only the Node Sensors are available from the Node view.

Hello,

It is not clear if you need further clarification or if it is all clear now 🙂

Thanks,
