Re: PM/FM for Orange IPT link

Not a difficult situation to remediate.    Whats occuring is the default logic is being applied for interface management. NNMI will only automatically manage those interfaces that it can determine are connected to another interface in its inventory. If its an ISP, thier equipment is not in your inventory, so you need to create a containment model for the object(s) you want to manage. You then add that group to monitoring settings and check the "Poll Unconnected Interfaces" box. Be aware of the cardinal rule for all NNMi rules. Only one can be applied to an object, the first one that matches is the one that will be applied.  So they are evaluated for minotoring settings in this order: Interfaces tab, lowest ordering number to highest, Node tab lowest to highest, and finally the general tab.

Re: PM/FM for Orange IPT link

That is the methodology for NNMi from v8.0 to the current v10.21 patch 2. Maybe you're unfamilar with the product  and are looking for a step by step guide ?

Re: PM/FM for Orange IPT link

Sorry, that product  (NNM 7.53) is EOL / EOS and should be replaced.
