Payload Filter - How to use operator ">" on String Type cia variable ?

When an incident is triggered over my custom poller , and processed throught an Enrichment I would like to verify if the variable cia.custompoller.lastValue > 9 but it seems all default Custom Attributes are String Type ...

My Question is "Can I do this logical cia.custompoller.lastValue > 9 even if it is a String Type.  It look like I have a glitch ...

Thanks,..

Re: Payload Filter - How to use operator ">" on String Type cia variable ?

Hello

What is the data-type your custom poller queries.

Is it of Integer or string type.

If it is of Integer type, you can have comparisons like,

ciaValue > 9

If it is of string type then you have to have it like,

ciaValue like 9*

Re: Payload Filter - How to use operator ">" on String Type cia variable ?

 Hello Ramesh9,

I 'm polling a Mib Variable and when I looked at his value return, it showed a integer format.

[root@saturn bin]# /usr/bin/snmpwalk -v2c -c public yd01nc16 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.6
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.147.1.2.1.1.1.3.6 = INTEGER: 10

But Custom Incident Attribute variable showns as String type and this is where I get value from ?

I'm not sure if it is converted along or still refer as an integer.

Thanks,..

Re: Payload Filter - How to use operator ">" on String Type cia variable ?

Hi Ramesh9,

I added  my screenshoot in attachment and as you will see it's pretty basic. If you need to look at what I get when an incident is triggered look at my previous post.

Thanks again.
