QA SPi iRA agent installation in SUSE 12 SP4 installer issue
Hello,
an iRA installation fails in SUSE 12 SP4 because of wrong data dir (reported wrong in the gui as /opt/OV/nonOV/NMCNetSNMP/include/net-snmp/agent/var_struct.h) which normally the default is the /var/opt/OV after net-SNMP (HPOvNMCNetSNMP) installation
the error message in the log is:
BR,
George

it looks that without install of HPOvNMCNetSNMP the iRA install gets the correct data path /var/opt/OV
but then fail again in the emb.jdk installation ...
2021-01-12 23:06:37,232 INFO - The script /tmp/install.dir.10238/Linux/resource/jre/bin/java -CONSOLE has returned a value of 1
2021-01-12 23:06:37,233 ERROR - There was a failure with this installation action for NNM iSPI for Quality Assurance iRA 11.20.001. Installing Embedded-JDK has returned a non-zero error code. NNM iSPI for Quality Assurance iRA will not be installed.
in the SUSE 12 SP4 there is by default already installed the net-snmp & the open-jdk
Also the follow tests didnt have any better result :
./setup.bin -f /files/ira.2020.11/iRA/installer.properties (ignores the properties file changes)
./setup.bin -DdataDir=/var/opt/OV -add HPOvIRA (not accepted the -add option)
./setup.bin -DdataDir=/var/opt/OV
