System performance metrics collection using NNMi

Jump to solution

Dear All

We are planning to use NNM to collect system performance collection for servers (Linux, HP, Solaris, Windows)

Unfortunately we do not see performance data been collected for CPU, Memory, Disk Image etc.

Had anyone attempted this past and please advise how to proceed.

Issue was with SNMP agent configuration on servers, tweaked snmpd.conf file on all servers to discover node components and performance data is coming perfectly.

Hello @ramesh9,

for Host Monitoring i guess Sitescope would be better for that use case , but if it's not working for can you explain if NNM discovered these resources that you want to monitor , if so think of custom polling metrics for each resource.

No, the CPU and memory is not getting discovered, I think that is the reason why performance data is not collected for them.
