The license for extension nnm-nc is invalid

Hi Experts,

We are getting this warning message (repeating) saying that the license for the extension nnm-nc is expired.

WARNING [com.hp.ov.nms.ui.framework.util.LicensingUtil] (tomcat-exec-450) The license for extension nnm-nc is invalid

But when I look at the system information under integrations the license is not (please see attached file) or its above the invalid licenses. Is this a bug?

Thanks again for looking on to this.

Regards,

Mac

Re: The license for extension nnm-nc is invalid

Hi Experts,

Just an update, the nnm-nc (netcool) extension is listed as our valid licenses but unfortunately we don't use it as an integration. Is there a way (in nnmi) to ensure not to detect this as an error?

Thanks!

Mac

The Instant-On license for Netcool is enabled by default. You can stop the messages by removing the Instant-On license using the nnmlicense.ovpl command. Use the "NCIM" product in the command which will allow you remove the Netcool Instant-On license.

nnmlicense.ovpl [ <PRODUCT> [-nosync] [(-g|-gui)|(-install|-f <lic_file>] ]

Use this command below to access the license GUI with the Netcool license. Remove the Instant-On license and the messages should stop.

nnmlicense.ovpl   NCIM  -g
