Unable to pull reports for a specific date frame in NNM iSPI

Hi All,

We are using HP NNMi version 10.00.701 and HP iSPI. Everything was working well, until last week when we started pulling out some utilization reports for a few routers for a fixed date frame from the Relative Start option (like 1 October - 17 October). When I tried running the report, it gave the following error:

Your time selections for interval and grain cannot be fulfilled with the data available. Check the data ranges and adjust the requested interval or the grain.

I've set the timings from 12 AM - 12 AM, Grain is for 1 day, Timezone is our current timezone (even tried it the Router's location timezone and default timezone). Now, it should be able to pull the data for that specific time range because the routers were up and running fine, we are able to pull out reports for other date frames (like 18-28 October). Reports for the first 17 days basically are missing.

Can anyone help with. It's kind of urgent.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Unable to pull reports for a specific date frame in NNM

can you please check your retention settings on the NPS system? From Premium Support Matrix v10.10:

By default, NPS stores daily aggregated data for 800 days, hourly aggregated data for 70 days, and
very fine grain, as collected, data for 14 days.

Does this affect all nodes or only some?

HTH and kind regards
