Using Web Services To Access iSPi Data

Jump to solution

I have been working on an OMi connector to access a log file that I am creating from the iSPi data.  But as I was working on this I saw the metric connector will connect with web services.  This made me wonder if NNMi iSPi has a web service that is exposed which I may access through the OMi connector.  Would anyone have information (or point me to documentation) that would help me use web services to access iSPi For Performance data (assuming any exist)?

Hello Ed

Thanks for your question,

NPS does not have any kind of web services, maybe you can create an script which performs the action that you need. NPS does not handle a web service, because it does not count with a "ovjboss" also NPS does not run in a JAVA virtual machine. NPS is completely different to a NNMi server which has all those aspects and features.

I hope this information helps you,
