iSPI performance metrics upgrade path

Jump to solution

Hello,

We have NNMi 2019.05 and iSPI perfomance metrics 10.10 patch 4 on dedicated server.

What is the uprgrade path to NPS 2015.05 or newer releases?

How long will be 10.10 patch 4 supported?

Thank you

David

Hi David,

No direct upgrade available for NPS as for some NNMi versions.

You could upgrade NPS skipping one version only, i.e.

from 10.10 > 10.30 > 10.50 >2018.08 (10.70) > 2018.11 (10.80) .

Best Regards,

Svetoslav

Hi,

you can find the interactive upgrade guide here:

based on the answer provided to the tool you will have upgrade path.

Thanks

Thanks for the link.
"NPS decoupling bundle will be supported until the version of NNMi it is deployed on becomes obsolete."

So NPS 10.10 with decoupling patch 4 will be supported as long as NNMi 2019.05 is supported? Given that we deployed it on NNM 2019.05

Hi David,

No.

"NPS decoupling bundle will be supported until the version of NNMi it is deployed on becomes obsolete." means: NPS 10.10 will be supported until NNMi 10.10 becomes obsolete.

So we need to upgrade from NPS 10.10 decoupling patch 4.

Is direct upgrade to 2018.11 (highest available version https://docs.microfocus.com/itom/Network_Node_Manager_i:2020.08/Upgrade) supported? Or should we upgrade to some intermediary version?
