Hello.

What is the product family NNM or NNMi? How deice is monitored via ICMP, SNMP or both? In NNMi 9.20 you can review Monitoring settings of the device and of the interface from "Actions --> Configuration details --> Monitoring settings".

For ICMP, sometimes there is firewall blocking outgoing or incoming requests, so you might review whetehr you are manually to access device pinging it.

In SNMP, sometimes OS kernel is flooded and unable to process packets, you can check this with 'nestat -s'.
