802.1x

Is Novell currently working on adding 802.1x functionality to the Netware
client? We've looked into purchasing a 3rd party product from Meeting
house (Aegis) but it's terribly expensive. We don't want to spend the
extra money if a near future client release is going to provide this
capability.

I'm not aware that engineering is working on this functionality, but
that doesn't mean they aren't. I suggest you make your wishes known via
support.novell.com/enhancement

There is supposedly a way to get the NW client to use the WinXP
supplicant, but I've not tried it
