AS11.1 and NW6.5

Hello,

I will be getting AS11.1 for my NW6.5 server within the next 2 week and was
wondering:

a) Does AS11.1 have to be installed on the SYS volume (AS 6 had to)? If no,
what do you recommend?
b) I will be getting the disaster recovery option, probably the image
option. Do you know if I need the open file manager option for Zen7 for
instance?

Any other suggestion?

Thank you in advance.

Eric.

Eric, Please review the following TID if you are using the BOFA with
11.1 and NSS volumes in Netware 6.5. #TID10094115. I had a problem with
ofa causing the pool to deactive. Please be aware.

Re: AS11.1 and NW6.5

Jonathan,

I don't know if the post is still available but Steve Goss had mentioned the
same exact problem.
I am not sure I will be using BOFA or DR for that matter. It turns out after
spending about 2 hours on the phone with CA that the DR option only works
with NW6.5 SP2. NW6.5 is already SP4a, CA will never catch up !!

Thank you.

Eric.
