Access CIFS from Windows 7 and 10 after last patches

Hello,

after the last patches, example Win10: KB3163018 and Win7: KB3161949 we get on the clients the error 0x80070035.
If we uninstall them, then access is again possible. The problem is that the last major update on windows 10 is neccessary. We also tried HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\LanmanWorksation\Parameters\AllowInSecureGuestAuth = 1, but did not work for us.
We have this problem on OES and also on Netware.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Access CIFS from Windows 7 and 10 after last patches

if it's the well-known issue reg. NBT across segments then the solution will be

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetBT\Parameters
"AllowNBToInternet"=dword:00000001

you might want to check this beforehand by trying to connect to the ipaddress, by FQDN or from the segment of the target box. if this works then the regkey above will help you.
