After Transfer ID, cannot login to NRM as Admin

Prior to doing an ID Transfer from NW 6.5 to OES2 SP1 Linux, I could login to the OES2 SP1 Linux NRM as "admin.abc"

However, after the ID transfer, this no longer works.

I can login to iMonitor and iManager however.

My guess is that the ID Transfer whacked the default LUM configuration?

Is this normal?

I didn't see any errors like that during the process.

Only other oddity I saw was that the source server had a R/W replica of the Security container and after the ID Transfer, it converted it to a subordinate reference (but none of the other RW replicas were affected).

We found a problem with the OES 2 SP1 code base in a handling Lunix user accounts ie the Admin, www and similar default accounts created by OES2 system.
We have fixed this issue and there is a patch available in the patch channel to fix this. Can you please try with the patch and let us know whether it works.

thanks & regards

Certainly! Which patch is it, so I can make sure it's on the system?

Hi Uma,

I have tried this with OES2 SP1 fully patched (at least whatever was released to the channel)

It does NOT fix the problem.

I just did an ID transfer on two systems, and while everything went over okay, I cannot login to either system as admin to NRM.

iManager works okay, but not NRM
