Auto-Complete login

Hello all,

I have a problem on one of our customers servers. This server runs windows 2003 with citrix and novell client 4.91. On login a user fills in just the half of his username and presses TAB, and novell auto complete his username. But the function doesn't work well. It takes 10 seconds to complete.

Does anyone had this problem before?
Is there a solution? and how can i temporarelly disable it?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Auto-Complete login

Sounds like you may have enabled contextless login?

Re: Auto-Complete login

I have enabled LDAP Contextless Login,
but it won't fill automaticly on a clean install. This is only on a old server.
I solved the problem by reinstalling the client. But still, I am curious what the solution was 🙂 or better: the problem!

Am I wrong if I say this wasn't the option ...?

thx

Re: Auto-Complete login

Well, in a way, you may have destoryed any possible evidence by a
reinstall <g>. It is possible that the config was pointing to a number of
(LDAP) servers as failover and perhaps the inital server is no longer
available, thus having to wait for timeout before hitting the next?
