BCC iManager plugin errors

Hi

We're trying to setup a BCC test system and keep getting the following
error when we try to manage a BCC cluster in iManager.

Error: Clustering Error The XML is missing one or more required tags

This is with NW65 SP6 and iManager 2.6.

We can install NCS ok and manager the cluster in iManager. We can then
install BCC and select the cluster to enable BCC. Once BCC is enabled,
the iManager snapin just stops working with the XML error above.

Anyone seen this?

Re: BCC iManager plugin errors

This sounds as if there is a plug in issue - what other iManager
Plugins do you have installed (either by default or manually?

Are these the BCC 1.1 plugins or the 1.0?

Check out TID 3417215

Re: BCC iManager plugin errors

Tim

Its BCC 1.1 SP1. It definitely sounds plugin related, but i've tried
iMan 2.5 and 2.6, both vanilla installs with minimal plugins. Then added
the storage and cluster plugins, and thats it. They where added in the
order as follows -

shared plugins
nss plugins
cluster plugins

Which is the suggested order in the BCC SP1 Readme.

One install now has IDM3.5 plugins and i'm trying another with IDM201
just to see whats happening.

Will check out the TID, but I think i've been through most of that.

Re: BCC iManager plugin errors

My thoughts was IDM 3.0 plugins not the 3.5 version.

Let me know and I can escalate

Re: BCC iManager plugin errors

Tim

All is well. There is an issue with the plugins that ship with BCC SP1.
NTS where able to get us new plugins from the developers that fixed the
issue.

Guess people will need to log a call to get the correct plugins or wait
for a patch.

Re: BCC iManager plugin errors

I knew that the patch existed, but the bugzilla report says that they
made it into SP1 ... Hmmmm <grumble>

Thanks for passing that on.
