BE 9.1, NW 6.5 sp5, owcimomd.log corrupt

We have recently applied NW 6.5 sp5 and it's associated post sp5 patches
to five servers. Backup Exec seems to run fine since the upgrade with
one issue.

During the backup, on all five upgraded servers, we are recieving errors
on the same files as follows:
##ERR##WARNING: File SYSTEM\cimom\var\owcimomd.log is corrupt on media.
##ERR##WARNING: File \ETC\nfs\XNFS.LOG is corrupt on media.
##ERR##WARNING: File \Apache2\logs\error_log is corrupt on media.

We have upgraded backup exec to 9.10 revision 1158, but the problem
persists.

Since they are all log files, I could just exclude the files in question
from the backup, however, I would like to know what is causing the
problem and if there is a fix for it.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: BE 9.1, NW 6.5 sp5, owcimomd.log corrupt

Hmm -- I'm running that exact combination here (BE 9.1 1158 and NW 6.5
SP5 plus post SP5 updates).

I do get 'in use, skipped' messages for log files on a batch of files,
but no corrupt file warnings.
