Backup Advice/Help

Hi all,

I need to see if I can get some advice/help with an issue on a Novell 6.5 Server, in an HP ML350 box.

The root issue is that my backups are never completing because there is way too much data to backup on DAT72 tapes. I do have an external Ultrium tape drive that is currently attached to a Windows server.

I am running Arcserve 11.1 on my Novell Server. Does anyone have any advice on getting Arcserve to see the external drive to let me use that instead of the internal DAT72 drive?

Thanks in advance!!

Sure. You mean that it does not detect the drive? IIRC does AS require
you to use a special driver, CANWPABD. Is that still the case? Check the
AS docs.

Looks like I am going to have to restart my Novell Server before I can try anything. Arcserve is not showing up in my list of loaded modules, but when I try to launch it, the server shows it already loaded.
