CIFS and address restrictions?

Does Novell CIFS support network address restrictions?

If I set network address restrictions for a user he is allowed with OES Client but blocked without; cifs.log:

cifsd[13739]: ERROR: CODIR: SESLoggingIn: Failed to authenticate user: testhrz, client: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, nwErr: -1669, cifsErr: 0

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the correct IP that is allowed in the address restriction setting for the user.

Thanks,

Mirko
