CIMOM error occurred: cannot write to the given file
We have a SLES11 OES11 file server.I am getting a "Could not get volume user restriction information on a Volume : CIMOM error occurred: cannot write to the given file" .Meaning when I browse to my data Volume and select user quotas in iManager version 2.7.6. I get this error message.
I have installed all the snap ins that was available for storage.

I see https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7004558 which records this error on OES2 SP3, and was fixed a year ago. Given the patches tend to align between OES version, make sure your OES11 is on SP1 and it patched up to date from the channel. Also make sure you have iMan 2.7.6 Patch 1 and Patch 1 Hotfix 1 installed.
