Can't get IMGHOST to work

I have a BorderManager server that's giving me problems (see "Someone
Else with 'NW65 Stops Communicating'..." in n.s.n.6.abends-hangs). I'd
like to get a core dump of it, but my C: partition only has 800MB free
and I don't think it will fit. I tried loading IMGHOST on another
server but when I try to write the core dump to it, it just says "unable
to connect to imghost server (or words to that effect)". I verified
that I can ping the remote server. Any ideas?

Re: Can't get IMGHOST to work

Hi Doug,

800MB should be more than enough, just choose not to include cache memory
and compress the dump. I never got a coredump >200MB.

BTW, with latest SP's you can designate a NW volume to hold the coredump.
Go into NRM - Volumes - Volume Information - Core Dump Management

Re: Can't get IMGHOST to work

I had a server with 2GB of memory, and the largest dump I EVER got out of
that was 270MB. Just dump with compression, and don't dump with the cache
buffers.
