Can you have a mixed DFS replica?

Current setup has one DFS context, but there's two servers hosting the replica.

Both are NetWare 6.5.7 servers

The actual DFS volumes/junctures are on NetWare 6.5.7 clustered resources.

The question I have is:

Can I upgrade one of my NetWare DFS replica servers to OES2 SP1 linux and continue to function okay--meaning that the DFS database has a copy living on both servers?

I didn't see anything in the docs that said this couldn't be done, but I may have missed something somewhere.

Re: Can you have a mixed DFS replica?

It is my understanding that you can have mixed replicas for the DFS database. The following chapter from the documentation tells you how to migrate DFS from NetWare to Linux and the migration specifically involves going through mixed replicas:

Cool, thanks. I thought that's what it meant, but wasn't sure.
