Cannot Login After Worstation Only

Have the newest version of the client installed. Only on some certain
computers they sometimes will not login (on the server) after it was logged
in as workstation only. Only happens on Dell XP computers WITH Microsoft
Shared Computer Toolkit. Is there some compatibility issue? It says "System
could not log you into the network." It says the username and password are
wrong.
Thanks a lot,

Re: Cannot Login After Worstation Only

Maybe you have a keyboard layout problem. At the initial login, you have
the default keyboard mapping. However after the workstation login, you
have the user's keyboard mappings. If both are different, maybe the user
is typing the wrong password without realizing it.

Re: Cannot Login After Worstation Only

Thanks for the reply. The mappings are all the same. The strange thing is
that it happens some of the time, not all of the time. It is something the
users are doing and it doesn't reset until you restart the computer. I
still can't figure it out.
Thanks,

Cannot Login After Worstation Only

Here is a new issue, the computers log into all but one of our login
servers when this happens. I don't know if it helps at all. (It won't login
into the one people actually use)

Re: Cannot Login After Worstation Only

I would check for an NDS synchronization issue. On your servers, run
DSREPAIR.NLM and use the "check synchronization status" option.
