Cannot login with 4.91 and D-Link DWL650+ WLAN card

I cannot login at startup with this config. XP SP2, cli 4.91 and DWL 650+
nic.
I could before, SP1 and cli 4.9x, but suddenly it stopped working. (With
cli 4.90 sp 2).
I have the latest drivers for nic.

Even if I set an static IP it does not work! Have tried to use IPX
against an old server, but that does not work either.

Can you ping the workstation prior to logon.
Depending on how the NIC is configured, it may not connect fully to the AP
until after the user logon.

No, I can not. How do I configure NIC so it connects fully before logon?
