Currently we have a mixed netware network of 5.0 and 6.5
our single time source is on a netware 5.0 server which we
need to decommission.
what is the easist way to move the time provider to
a 6.5 server
Regards and many thanks.

Re: Changing time source server from 5.0 to 6.5

On the Nw65 server:
Monitor | Server Parameters | Time | Timesync type -> single
Monitor | Server Parameters | Time | default time server type -> Single
Clear the Timesync time sources, exit monitor and then on the console type:
set timesync restart flag = on

On your other servers:
Monitor | Server parameters | Time | Timsync type -> secondary
Monitor | Server Parameters | Time | default time server type -> Secondary
Monitor | Server Parameters | Time | Timesync time sources -> ip-address of
your nw65 box and end with ";"
Exit monitor and then on the console type:
Set timesync restart flag = on
