Client Locking after PW change

We are having an issue with our clients locking right after a password change and I'm hoping someone could lend a hand...... What's happening is this, we have our users in a Windows domain and when time comes to change their pw they do so and both pw's show that they were properly changed. Here is the gotcha, if they lock the workstation before they re-boot the pc, and then attempt to un-lock it, they will lock themselves out of their account on the domain. If the workstation is then re-booted (after an admin unlocks the account) things are fine.... Anyone had this issue? Thanks
