Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

Sorry...
How utterly useless such a search has proven to be

Here is the results
search results (2 downloads found)
DirXML
1.1 Snap-in on Solaris, NetWare, Linux, Windows 98/NT/2000/XP

Novell Cluster Services
1.7 Snap-in for ConsoleOne

Why can't novell do anything easy?? like put all console one stuff in
one
place?

Oops I sound frustrated.. Guess I am..

Thanks Brad anyway

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

Ok Maybe I finally found it- I selected my XP Platform and that caused
it to
limit the search..

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

I believe that it is the cluster snapins that you want anyhow..... (I
think that they are the ones that give you the CIFS tab)

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

After choosing Category (radio button), you selected ConsoleOne
Snap-ins from the pull down menu? When I do that, among others I
get...

Novell Native File Access Pack
Snap-in for Netware 6 SP1 on Windows 95/98/NT/2000

...which should also work for XP, I'd think.

Really? You're usually right about these things, but that seems
awfully odd.

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

I'm not always right :), but I remember asking a co-worker about a
year ago (because I didn't have the snapins), I believe that he mentioned
that is is the cluster snapins (which SHOULD install by default in NW6, but
not necessarily in ConsoleOne)...

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

Ahh... it may have been about the time that the config was being moved

from sys:/etc to NDS, so the snapins should have been
available/installed, but were just getting out the door in various
packages before being fully released? Maybe... 🙂

Re: Consoleone Snap-ins

I installed the NMAS snapins after NFAP, NCS and NFS. I finally have
the
simple password box.
