DNS 35088 error

Dear All,

I'm looking for some urgent assistance with DNS failures.
I've searched support.novell.com and googled too but can not find an
explanation or fix.

There are several NetWare 6.5 SP5 servers.
Two of them are running Named.nlm v6.04.15.
eDir is 8.7.3.7.

Named stopped with the named console error message:
"critical: Unable to get the object creation-modification with error 35088
value: (result code text not available)"
"critical: exiting (due to assertion failure)"
"DNS Server is unloaded successfully"

BOTH of the servers stopped at exactly the same time, although the other
server had less error detail.

Second Question.
Named.nlm was updated to v6.05.02 in SP6.
What was it supposed to fix?

Your help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Mike.

Re: DNS 35088 error

For urgent assistance you have to log a call direct with Novell.
Turnaround here is usually around a day.

But if you still want help with DNS from us, you need to post in the
DNS-DHCP forum, thanks.
