DNS Import records into existing zone....

Is it possible to use the import function to ADD records to an existing zone?
i.e. take records from a previous export and use them with the import to 'merge' into the existing zone

(We have some records that were deleted and it is not possible to re-create them with imanager or the java console)

Anyone tried this?!?

Cheers

Didn't dare try this. Also no joy with the RR ldif files on the server. Ended up using ConsoleOne, edited the record types under the dns entries using the 'other' tab, DNIP:RR attribute and the editor to add entries... Watch out for the periods in the fqdn... some are hex 06 and 02 - not what you get when you type "." in the right panel....

HTH
