DST Volume replication between 2 OES2015 servers

Hi,

I have the following situation:

- One OES2105 Server at our main site with NSS volume (DST used)
- One OES2015 Server at a secondary site with a NSS volume (NO DST used)

How can I synchronize the volumes between the 2 sites?

I see the problem of having 2 NSS volumes as source (primary and shadow) and only one NSS volume as the target.

Any idea?

Bernard

Wel, that really depends on how you generally plan to do this
(reagrdless if DST is in the mix or not). It's generally not a trivial
task at all. For instance, which directions to you need the sync to work?

Re: DST Volume replication between 2 OES2015 servers

This is the question I am asking for.

Which tool will allow this kind of operation and also set the trustees and quotas if necessary?

IC. Of course, it would be easiest to use something that sees the DST
volumes as one. This can mean some tool working from a client, like
robocopy fr instance.

Hi Massimo,

Thanks for the response. I will check robocopy and have a look at Novell Storage Manager.

Greetings
