Day light Savings time and Windows 2000?

I was wondering if it is a big deal that Windows 2000 does not have a
patch for the day light savings time? So I have been told. I have
patched my Novell servers and xp machines. Will this effect the time on
the 2000 machines or wil they get their times from the servers anyway?

Or if anyone knows where I can find a patch for this I most certainly
appreciate it.

We are running in Central time zone.

It's up to you. I've made the GPO recommended from KB914387.
Basically, copy the .reg file and vb script, and use a startup script
and reboot your servers.

Yes

They will get the UTC time from the server and they will offset that time
depending on their local timezone settings. Since the timezone setting, without
the patch, will be on 'standard time' it will offset -6 instead of -5 for US
Central Time.
