Dell PowerEdge 1800 Dual Processor cannot install Netware 6.5 Evaluation

Purchased a Dell Poweredge Server to replace an aging server. We want to
run the evaluation of Netware 6.5 first before we get our elicense. The
Dell PowerEdge with Dual Xeon Processors 2.8 Ghz (also has 2gigs of ram) is
certified with Netware 6.5, it has the standard Perc controller etc. We run
the Manager assistant which generates creates the dos partition and
partition for netware then it proceeds to ask for the netware disk and
netware begins the startup process, which cdrom [ide, scsi] install
[auto, manual] etc and then it starts the os install.
About 4 or 5 lines appear on screen the usual
initializing keyboard
initializing debugger

Right after that I receive a abend on P00. Here is the entire message:

System Fault Screen
System Halted Friday 1, 1993
Abend on P00 General Protection Processor Exception (Error Code 00000000)
OS Version
Netware 5.70 July 3, 2003

Additional Information:
The hardware detected a problem while executing an interrupt service
routine. The code being executed is owned by Loader.exe.
It may be the source of the problem or there may have been a memory

We contacted Dell and performed some tests and everything checked out okay.
They recommended removing one of the processors and see what happens but the
system should have no problem running with the default two. I also disabled
logical processors in the bios but no dice. I was able to install a copy of
Netware 6 (with a few problems) but it did not blow up like the 6.5
installation it actually went the distance. I'm not certain how well the
drivers will work for 6. But we really want 6.5 installed.

Anyone have any ideas of what we can try, should we remove on the
processors, is there a difference between the loader for the evaluation
version and the "real" version" or are they exactly the same with just the
licensing the issue of 90 days?
Appreciate any help
