Dell SC430

hello, i recently received two of the referenced servers. i intended to
install netware 6.5 on them to replace two old servers. the first one i
tried had issues at the beginning of the process. the first item is
install or create floppy. the setup got past that part. the second item
is search for cd-rom drivers. the setup got past that part. the third
item is terminate floppy emulation. the setup got past that part. the
fourth part is the run mode. i select auto and then the setup starts,
goes about 1/10 of a second, beeps, shows the initializing debugger
message, and then starts over into the loader screen again. i have setup
a dozen servers and heve never seen this issue. can anyone provide some
inward knowledge? thanks in advance.

Re: Dell SC430

Which version of NW 6.5 -- I suspect you will need to deploy using
either the SP3 or SP4 ISO version here.

Re: Dell SC430

We've seen install problems with newer hardware and NW 6.5 (original)
or SP1 for that matter.

I found I needed the SP3 ISO's to successfully install on a Dell
PowerEdge 2800 recently.

The deal more often than not is to be able to include updated storage
drivers.
