Disable default web sites

Hi,

I have a sles11sp4+oes2015sp1 running my GroupWise webmail. I want to disable the default OES ("Micro Focus® Open Enterprise Server 2015 SP1") website and only allow the apache server to respond on the fixed and given /gw sub-site.
How can that be done? Thank you in advance.

Best regards Claus, DK

This should still apply I believe: https://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=7005659

Re: Disable default web sites

Thanks - yes, I saw that KB article.
I would, however, prefer nok to have it to redirect, but simply not respond unless you know the"secret" og /gw. Can that be done?

By "not respond" do you really mean not respond with anything (whether
valid content or error page) or respond with error page (possibly custom
one) unless accessing /gw/webacc?

It's very hard to get a web server to not respond at all unless you hit
a specific URL so missing/invalid pages are likely to result in an error
page.

Actually the default OES welcome page is a redirect defined in
/srv/www/htdocs/index.html:

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=/welcome/" />
</head>
<body>
<h1></h1>
</body>
</html>

Replace welcome with whatever URL you like. As it has been remarked
already it is hard to silence an apache web server completely.
