Disk errors

NW6.0 sp5
I had the following error this morning

9 Aug 2005 6:15:25 NSS<COMN>-3.5-xxxx: comnPool.c[2495]
Pool GROUPWISE: System data error20012(beastTree.c[504]. Block 67229308
(file block -67229308) (ZID 1)
Should I do a rebuild or verify ?
The volume has my Groupwise data .The size is 250GO, around 50Go in use.
Any idea how long the rebuild or verify could take (if that is the
solution )?So that I can warn my warn my users of the down time

Re: Disk errors

You should apply nw6nss5c _then_ do the rebuild. The speed completely
depends on your disk channel hardware, I'd allow a small number of hours
as a general guide.

Re: Disk errors

Good Morning Andrew,
Firstly is it a problem to use beta files on a production system ?
Secondly I cannot download the file .

Re: Disk errors

That link works fine for me without using Getright, whatever that is.
Are you able to log in there successfully?
