Enabling Universal Password with IDM 3.5.1 already installed

Is anyone aware of any problems I might have enabling universal password in a tree that has IDM 3.5.1 already installed and running without UP? We have a large network with over 25,000 users and rely heavily on IDM. Will enabling universal password at this point cause any issues for IDM? I've already done all the SDIDIAG prerequisite checks and found that all the keys are 56-bit. Will revoking the 56-bit key and generating a 128-bit key affect IDM? If anyone has tried this before and run into any issues, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks!

This is probably better-asked in the NMAS or eDirectory forums, or even
the IDM forum for concerns with IDM. It depends on which drivers you are
using, how you are synchronizing which data, and what your UP policy is
like. It would be best if you had 168-bit (not 128) keys and revoking
your current key and generating a new one will accomplish that. Other
than that this is something you should definitely test thoroughly before
implementing.

Good luck.
