Error c0001005 after server reboot NW6.5

After rebooting my Netware servers loose their connection to the server license certificate, generating a c0001005 error in servers log.

I have to allocate the certificate manually with nw-admin, then everything runs well - until the next reboot...

What's wrong?

Re: Error c0001005 after server reboot NW6.5

Under older version of NetWare, this was because of the license being assigned to a differnt server. I'm assuming this is the case with 6.5. Make sure the license you are trying to use is not assigned to a different server.

The (education-) license is assigned to three servers, it includes only a maximum of 90 clients, no limitation of servers.

It is my understanding that a 6.5 license should *not* be specifically
assigned to any server, just placed in the tree above the servers where they
can all "see" it, as they cannot browse down the tree.

Is there a problem, because I placed the license and the server-object in the same tree?

No, it should be in the same tree, at or above the level of the servers, and
not assigned to any specific server(s).
