Existing Home directories on NSS

We are running a SLES10 OES cluster, and user home drives exist on Clustered volumes. We are now looking at deploying iFolder to our remote users and I have a quick question...

Q : Can ifolder work with existing user directories or is this not a best practice solution.

Re: Existing Home directories on NSS

I did not see an option for iFolder to work with home folders. iFolder3 is independent and it is additional storage. You might want to use NetStorage to work with your existing directories.

This has been an ongoing discussion since version 1 of iFolder. It is
not possible in the design.

However, Hans's suggestion of exposing it via NetStorage side by side is
the best option.
