Hardware Platform

Is it possible to install OES in Linux kernel mode on a SUN Sunfire
'Opteron' system V20Z? With the transistion of Netware to Linux, our bosses
want to now standarize on SUN equipment running OES instead of Workgroup
servers such as HP/Compaq Proliants.

Thanks,

Opteron is an AMD64 chipset. OES/Linux should install fine on it, but it
will not yet take full advantage of such hardware as the OES components have
not yet been made 64-bit clean yet. This is being addressed by development.
