How lock down a drive that bacame open to everybody

On Friday I had problem on a Novell Server 6.0 that one drive became
accessable to everybody. R\users\. This drive holds all the personal data
of every employee in the company. What steps can I take to make that
folder is only mapped to that user.

Well, you have to find out where users get the rights to that drive.
For this, following the directory structure from the problem directory
to the root of the volume, and at each level, check the trustees of the
directory. Look if it any level, a user, group or container gets
excessive rights. Remeber that rights are automatically inherited down
the directory structure.

Additionally, if a group or OU has been given supervisor rights to the
server object they'll have full rights to the file system.
