How to silence server beeps

Is there a way (through a software action) to turn off the beeping of a server?

Many of our servers are connected in a WAN, and sometimes one of the
connections fails (say Qwest cuts a line). The initial beeping alerts us
to the problem, but before very long it drives people who are within
earshot crazy. We know of the problem but just have to wait until Qwest
gets its act together to fix it. We don't need to continue to hear the beeps.

Thanks in advance.

On the server console
SET SOUND BELL FOR ALERTS = OFF
Should be possible in monitor too, probably under Server Parameters - Misc

If you want to do this remote, you will have to log in to Novell Remote
Manager.
